Distinguished Barrister Award

Presented annually by the Indiana Lawyer, a statewide legal publication, this award is given to a select few lawyers for their exemplary standard in practicing law, as well as their contributions to the profession and their community.

GP Hall of Fame

Awarded by the Indiana State Bar Association's General Practice Session, this award recognizes top Indiana small firm lawyers for their service to their clients, the legal profession and their community. Stephen received this award in 2007.

ISBA Presidential Citation

This award is given at the discretion of the President of the Indiana State Bar Association. Stephen received this recognition in 2002 for outstanding contributions and starting the Indiana Solo and Small Firm Conference.

Founders Award

Awarded by Indiana State Bar Association recognizing Stephen Terrell's role as founder of the Indiana Solo and Small Firm Conference. The nationally-recognized conference covering the latest law developments in the practice of law.

Paul G. Fox Award

Awarded by the Decatur Township Democratic Club in recognition of Stephen's service to the Decatur Township community on the southwest side of Indianapolis.
 

Distinguished Alumni Award

A proud Bearcat from Muncie Central High School, Stephen was selected from among the tens of thousands of graduates of that school to receive its 2014 Distinguished Alumni Award.
 

2011 MWW Fellow

Stephen was selected as a Fellow of the Midwest Writers Workshop in 2011. Stephen was selected from more than 100 applicants for this recognition, which included participating in the Midwest Writers Workshop Retreat.

MWW Manny Award

The Manny Award for Short Fiction was presented to Stephen at the 2011 Midwest Writers Workshop, which draws hundreds of writers from around the nation to Ball State University each summer. Stephen received the top short fiction award for his short story "Visiting Hours."
